Real Estate Private EquityOur client, a highly respected real estate private equity investment manager with more than $6 billion in committed capital, is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Chicago-based team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone early who wants direct exposure to investment performance, valuations, investor reporting, capital management, and portfolio strategy within a sophisticated institutional investment platform. This role offers broad exposure across multiple facets of the business.

You'll work alongside a lean, collaborative finance team and gain meaningful interaction with senior leadership, institutional investors, lenders, and investment partners across the globe.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Finance Analyst, you'll play an integral role in supporting the firm's investment platform and helping drive key financial and strategic initiatives.

You'll assist in preparing investor presentations, quarterly and annual reporting packages, and business plan materials for institutional investors and advisory boards. You'll help analyze portfolio performance, review investment results, evaluate valuation assumptions, and support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and market research.

The role also offers exposure to fund operations and capital management activities, including cash planning, forecasting, funding coordination, and liquidity management. You'll collaborate closely with investment professionals, operating partners, lenders, and finance teams across multiple regions to ensure timely and accurate information flow throughout the organization.

In addition, you'll contribute to corporate governance and compliance initiatives, gaining exposure to the operational and regulatory aspects of managing a large-scale private investment platform.

Requirements

• CPA, CPA candidate, or accounting/finance professional with 1-3 years of experience
• Background in public accounting, audit, advisory, transaction services, valuation, corporate finance, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Interest in real estate, private equity, investment management, or alternative investments
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
