Duties
- Assist in fund and management structuring.
- Negotiate with institutional investors, including government pension plans and endowments.
- Handle secondary sales of limited partner fund stakes.
- Participate in general partner-led fund restructurings.
- Draft and review legal documents with precision.
- Collaborate with partners, senior counsels, and clients.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund formation and investment management.
- Working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act registration and compliance.
- Familiarity with the Securities Act as it pertains to private investment funds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
