Role Description The Content and Social Media Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms to support client and firm-wide marketing objectives.

Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, writing posts, producing visual assets with design tools, and managing community engagement through comments, messages, and online conversations. The strategist monitors performance metrics, prepares regular reports, and adjusts strategies based on analytics and campaign results.

The role also involves coordinating with account managers, designers, and PR team members to ensure consistent brand messaging, support campaign launches, and contribute ideas for new digital initiatives and storytelling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute content strategies, including social media calendars, campaign concepts, and brand-aligned messaging.
• Strong writing and editing skills for social posts, short-form content, and basic marketing copy, with attention to tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
• Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), including posting, monitoring, and community engagement.
• Comfort with using analytics and social media tools to track performance, generate reports, and make data-informed recommendations.
• Basic proficiency with design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) to create or adapt visual assets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams and clients, including presenting ideas and responding to feedback.
• Previous experience in public relations, marketing, or agency environments is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with current digital trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms is highly beneficial.
