Your Role as Media Relations Senior Manager for Accenture Song
We seek a dynamic public relations expert to lead the strategy and execution of a comprehensive media relations program for Accenture Song. You will be responsible for creating impactful media campaigns focusing on areas such as Design, Marketing, and Commerce, while also enhancing the visibility of our executive leaders.
This position involves generating top-tier media coverage and supporting executive visibility initiatives, particularly for our CMO and CCO. Your leadership will guide the media relations team and collaborate across diverse marketing and communication teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to translate goals into actionable global media strategies.
- Design and manage the global media strategy for Accenture Song, executing plans alongside the media team.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling themes and messaging aligned with critical trends and events.
- Oversee media audits and performance reporting.
- Establish executive positioning platforms leveraging expert insights.
- Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interactions.
- Curate and amplify a content pipeline for media relations that highlights client success stories and thought leadership.
- Monitor industry media mentions and analyze competitive landscape to inform strategy and reporting.
- Conduct market research to refine positioning and communication plans.
- Lead the nominations and promotions for industry awards and recognitions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and industry peers.
- Collaborate on effective social media initiatives for leadership visibility.
- Ensure all media relations activities align with Accenture’s strategic business objectives.
Work Requirements
Must be based in an Accenture office. Limited travel may be required (approximately 10%).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 12 years in public relations or corporate communications, ideally with a focus on the technology sector.
Preferred Skills
- Established relationships with press in business and industry sectors.
- Expertise in leveraging social media to enhance media programs.
- Strong understanding of Accenture's business strategy and marketplace dynamics.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with executives.
