Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Content Marketing oversees the written and digital content, operations, and distribution of the Firm’s communication materials including the website, written/video/audio content, biographies, social media, syndication services, and email.

The Senior Manager must keep current on key marketing principles and innovative communication platforms, while simultaneously providing professional growth opportunities for their team. The Senior Manager will work with their team to determine the Firm’s communications are reaching our target audience.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with multiple cross-functional team members within the BD&C department and in other Firm departments to ensure a unified approach to the image, communication, and strategic direction of the Jones Day brand.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
• Minimum ten years of experience in a professional services or law firm setting.
• Minimum of three years of experience managing teams.
• Experience applying principles of search engine optimization and branding to all types of content.
• Sophisticated knowledge of web and interactive technologies.

Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $175,000 to $190,000.
