Senior Litigation Paralegal

A busy and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex personal injury litigation matters in Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their cases, and can confidently support attorneys from case inception through trial.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing complex litigation files, coordinating deadlines, handling discovery, and preparing cases for trial. Extensive Nevada personal injury litigation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from initial filing through trial and potential appeal
• Prepare, revise, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other court documents
• Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all pleadings, discovery, correspondence, medical records, and evidence are organized and accessible
• Coordinate the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, tracking deadlines, and assisting with document production
• Assist with deposition preparation, scheduling, summaries, and follow-up
• Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, binders, witness files, and other case-related documents
• Coordinate ongoing litigation meetings and help ensure cases are progressing in a timely and strategic manner
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings using legal research tools and databases
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and court personnel
• Track filing deadlines, court rules, and procedural requirements to maintain compliance in all matters

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a personal injury law firm environment
• Trial preparation experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program is preferred
• Strong legal drafting, proofreading, and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines
• Technical aptitude and experience with legal research platforms, case management systems, and litigation support software.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills when working with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside parties
