Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Henneke, Fraim & Dawes, P.C., an established Genesee County, Michigan law firm, is looking for a legal assistant or paralegal to work closely with one or more attorneys. The legal assistant or paralegal will work primarily in the area of civil litigation or business, but may be called on to assist in other areas if needed.

Responsibilities will include

• Preparing, organizing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, orders, and other related documents.
• Reviewing and organizing client matters and files.
• Preparing, revising, organizing, and compiling business and real estate related documents.
• Communicating with clients and court staff via email and by phone.
• Coordinating deadlines, schedules, and meetings.

Organization, attentiveness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF programs are crucial skills for this position. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
