The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys and paralegals in active litigation matters by preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and motions.
This full-time role involves managing case files (both electronic and paper), organizing exhibits, maintaining databases, and ensuring documents are accurately filed with courts and served on parties. The position includes scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining attorneys’ calendars.
The Legal Assistant will communicate with clients, court staff, experts, and vendors in a professional manner, and assist with trial preparation, including assembling binders and coordinating logistics. This is an in-person role based in Salinas, CA.
