Preferred Title & Escrow, LLC is is seeking a full-time Title Real Estate Paralegal (Closer)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process residential, commercial, and investor closing transactions
- Work directly with customers, vendors, and business partners to bring a transaction to a close
- Prepare settlement statements and closing disclosure for FHA/Conventional/VA loan closings, in accordance with FHA requirements and the HUD commitment and fund files
- Request invoices, payoffs and wiring instructions
- Ensure the lenders lien position is protected by analyzing title reports, facilitating payoffs and reconveyances, and collecting all documentation needed at closing
- Work cross-functionally with staff to ensure that each closing process complies with our guidelines, the expectations of the parties, and all applicable laws
- Document your processes, seek efficiencies, and scale up the role to maximize efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of work experience is preferred.
- Must be able to multitask, maintain professionalism, and maintain attention to details.
- Deep understanding of the real estate closing process desired
- Able to deliver a quality level of customer service
- Qualia preferred but experience with any closing software is acceptable.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment, work with a sense of urgency and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
