Experienced Litigation Paralegal

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Experience Litigation Paralegal role based in Philadelphia, PA. The Experience Litigation Paralegal will support trial attorneys across all phases of complex litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.

Daily responsibilities include drafting, formatting, and managing legal documents; organizing and reviewing records; and coordinating case files, calendars, and deadlines. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, preparing pleadings and motions, assisting with deposition preparation, and assembling trial binders and exhibits.

The paralegal will also communicate with clients, experts, and vendors, and collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure cases move forward efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing litigation materials.
• Proficiency in document review and case file management, including organizing medical, financial, and expert records.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research using online and traditional resources.
• Hands-on experience preparing pleadings and related court filings.
• Demonstrated capability in drafting, revising, and filing motions in state and/or federal courts.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in personal injury, medical malpractice, or complex civil litigation.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and relevant law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced trial environment with strict deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with legal case management software, e-filing systems, and Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, clients, and experts, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
