As the Lead Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing litigated cases and a variety of legal matters within our department. Your expertise will be essential in providing legal representation to clients from disadvantaged communities and driving impactful advocacy across various platforms.

Your responsibilities will include

• Collaborating with the Directing Attorney to refine and implement our strategic legal approach, including litigation, negotiation, and administrative advocacy.
• Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating a diverse team consisting of Senior Staff Attorneys, Staff Attorneys, Legal Fellows, Interns, and Legal Secretaries.
• Utilizing professional judgment to exercise discretion in legal matters and decision-making.
• Fostering a collaborative environment to enhance the effectiveness of non-supervisory legal staff in advancing our mission.
