We are partnering with a reputable plaintiff-side firm in Chicago seeking a proactive and experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact case success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to attorneys handling plaintiff personal injury matters
• Order medical records and handle to the service of process for files
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court filings (state and federal)
• Coordinate scheduling for depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Maintain and organize high-volume case files from intake through resolution
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel as needed
• Maintain a proactive and organized approach to support the paralegal and Partner in daily operations

Qualifications

• Required: Prior experience as a legal assistant supporting plaintiff personal injury cases
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing systems
• Highly proactive, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
