The Legal Administrative Assistant Supervisor supervises and coordinates the daily workflow of legal administrative assistants in support of the transactional practice groups including corporate, M&A, Tax and Real Estate. This position ensures the administrative transaction team follows established procedures, protocols, and operates at the highest level.
The Legal Support Coordinator works collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency and deliver high quality service to attorneys and other legal team members.
Monitor and coordinate resource materials in Teams to provide the most up-to-date information for the administrative team.
Conduct effective performance evaluations; share knowledge, mentor and provide guidance to team members.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
Maintain employees’ timecards, time off requests, and remote work requests.
Legal Administrative AssistantAssist attorneys with preparation of legal documents and general correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Extensive editing, proofreading, and redlining of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
Coordinate, assemble, and organize closing materials, including closing binders.
Draft standard correspondence and format documents.
Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements.
Enter time entries for attorneys accurately and efficiently into the firm’s timekeeping system.
Maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files in accordance with firm procedures and the document management system.
Attention to other administrative tasks including conflict checks, new client/matter intake process, client bills, mail, and expense and reimbursement requests.
