About the Role

The company is seeking a dynamic Head of Compliance to play a critical role in enhancing and scaling its U.S. compliance program. As the designated BSA and OFAC Officer, you will focus on fortifying the compliance framework to support our ambitious growth objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the implementation of the U.S. compliance regime.
• Managing and optimizing the compliance technology suite.
• Conducting annual corporate risk assessments.
• Developing and executing AML and sanctions training programs.
• Creating and maintaining robust compliance policies.
• Leading strategy for state money transmitter licensing.
• Ensuring compliance of all products and services with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, with CAMS certification being highly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of compliance experience within the Fintech, Payments, or Digital Asset sectors is essential.

Candidates must have deep knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and FinCEN requirements, and experience with Money Services Businesses (MSBs). The ideal candidate will be analytical, data-driven, and possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, global startup environment.

Additional responsibilities include supervising and expanding the compliance department, responding to audit requests, and serving as the primary representative to regulatory bodies.
