In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our company's regulatory compliance and maintaining positive relationships with regulatory agencies. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in risk management and compliance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the financial services industry.
Monitor and assess the company's compliance with applicable regulations and laws, identifying potential risks and proposing effective solutions.
Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proactively communicate with regulatory agencies to maintain positive relationships and address any compliance concerns.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory inquiries and requests for information.
Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
Keep up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure the company's compliance efforts are current and effective.
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
Identify and escalate potential compliance issues to senior management and work towards resolving them in a timely manner.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulators during audits and examinations.
Act as a subject matter expert on compliance matters and provide guidance and support to other team members.
Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide compliance programs and initiatives.
Continuously review and improve compliance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities and documentation for audits and examinations.
