MEDICAL OFFICE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

LIST OF DUTIES

Primary Function & Duties

• To greet patients and other callers at the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner
• To answer the telephone promptly and courteously
• To exercise confidentiality regarding patient care and all aspects of the Practice

Duties

1. Record messages and make sure they are attended to or provided to Business Manager

2. Make outgoing phone calls as requested

3. Greet patients on arrival and courteously advise them of any delays

4. Check off patients’ names on arrival

5. Have patients’ medical records available when requested

6. Update information in computer

7. Issue invoices and receipts

8. Attend to account queries if possible or refer problem to Business Manager

9. Follow up bad debts

All other tasks not specific listed that may be needed from the Business Manager or Provider staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Must be fluent in Spanish.

Work Location: In person

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
