Greet patients, families, and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.
Assist in maintaining patient charts and ensuring all medical records are accurately and securely stored.
Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, coordinating with other departments as needed.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care.
Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring budgetary guidelines are followed.
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and copying.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Support and assist nursing staff with various tasks, such as retrieving and delivering lab results, documenting patient information, and notifying appropriate personnel of urgent patient needs.
Maintain knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance.
Attend unit and hospital meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the unit manager or nursing staff.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
