ADIRA Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our team supporting our busiest primary care clinic in McAllen, Texas.

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and customer-focused Medical Front Office Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced medical office environment. This position serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting the overall efficiency of clinic operations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients professionally and courteously
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and PCP assignments prior to appointments
- Collect copays, deductibles, outstanding balances, and required documentation
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Manage patient messages and route requests appropriately
- Assist patients with insurance-related questions and PCP changes
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information within the EMR
- Scan, upload, and organize documents within the patient chart
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Monitor appointment schedules and assist with schedule optimization and backfilling cancellations
- Support daily front office operations and workflow management
- Follow established clinic policies, procedures, and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Medical Front Office Experience: 3+ Years (Required)
- Insurance Verification Experience: 3+ Years (Required)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience: 3+ Years (Required)
- Customer Service Experience: 3+ Years (Required)
- Medical Office Experience: 3+ Years (Required)
- Experience Verifying Eligibility, Benefits, and PCP Assignments (Required)
- Experience Scheduling Appointments in a Fast-Paced Medical Office (Required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Work Authorization (Required)
