Accounting Manager

We at Del Monte Foods are excited to be searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the accounting and finance operations of Del Monte Foods.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of accounting professionals and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.Qualifications for this role include:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification preferred• At least 5 years of experience in a management role within an accounting department• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and relevant regulations• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communicationIf you are an experienced accounting professional who is motivated to take on a leadership role at Del Monte Foods, we invite you to apply today.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the accounting and finance operations of Del Monte Foods.

Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with US GAAP and relevant regulations.

Analyze and interpret financial data to inform decision making.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Monitor and review the work of accounting staff to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Prepare financial statements for review by executive management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance.

Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.

Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders as necessary.

Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
