Role Description This is a Part Time job which can be handled at home once person learns the practice in the office. Messages and scheduling. Process patient and insurance billing, post payments, reconcile accounts, and monitor outstanding balances.

Daily responsibilities include recording transactions, preparing and reviewing invoices, following up on overdue accounts, and communicating with patients and payers regarding account status. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with basic financial reports, and ensuring that all entries are compliant with practice policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and Finance, with the ability to manage day-to-day financial transactions in a small medical practice setting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software specifically QUICKBOOKS
• Hands on experience with electronic billing systems, including data entry and report generation. Specifically must have experience specifically with the medical office program DRCHRONO.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with patients, insurers, and regarding billing and collections.
• Prior experience in medical billing, collections, or healthcare finance necessary.
