Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable CPA Company to find their next Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist. This position is based in Redding, CA.

We are partnering with a reputable CPA firm that is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, providing hands-on support across bookkeeping, payroll, and basic tax preparation.

Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist Compensation

• $24 - $28 an hour
• Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2
• Full-time, Monday-Friday

Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist Qualifications

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or similar role
• Experience with payroll processing
• Familiarity with 1040 tax preparation is preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Experience with tax software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with preparation of individual tax returns (1040s)
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information
