Kosair Shrine Center is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our nonprofit and member-based organization. This is a stable, long-term part-time position offering flexibility, meaningful work, and a positive office environment.

If you enjoy keeping financial records accurate, working independently, and supporting an organization that serves the community, we’d love to hear from you.WHAT YOU’LL DOManage accounts payable, deposits, reconciliations, and routine bookkeeping functions using Sage 50. Prepare monthly financial reports, maintain accurate accounting records, process member dues transactions, and assist with cash handling and charitable gaming accounting activities.

Training will be provided for organization-specific processes and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A minimum of two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience and hands-on experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software.
• Candidates should be comfortable with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, Microsoft Excel, and maintaining confidential financial information with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations, associations, membership-based organizations, or regulated financial environments is preferred but not required.WHY JOIN KOSAIR
