Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Outpatient Accounting Department. Responsibilities include billing, claims processing, account reconciliation, and ensuring timely payment for inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance claims (DRG, APC, APG)
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Reconcile patient accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor overdue balances and initiate collections
• Maintain knowledge of CPT4, ICD10, HCPCS coding and provider contracts
• Generate and analyze billing reports using MS Excel
