Accounting Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role requires proficiency in financial software and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist in account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Utilize financial software such as Xero, ADP, and Paychex for various accounting functions.
• Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls.
• Support payroll processing using Kronos or UltiPro as needed.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide support for audits.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with financial software, including Xero, ADP, Paychex, or similar systems.
• Experience with accounts payable processes is preferred.
• Ability to perform account analysis and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.14 - $24.00 per hour
