We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Receivables Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the organization’s financial operations by managing data entry, account reconciliations, and various bookkeeping tasks. Your expertise will help ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Duties include:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will own the full collections lifecycle for our B2B service business: handling past-due accounts, identifying root-cause payment delays, and resolving client billing disputes while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Responsibilities:*
• Collections Management: Proactively contact clients with overdue accounts via phone and email to secure payment arrangements and resolve delinquencies.
• Aging Report Analysis: Monitor and analyze the AR aging report (30/60/90+ days) to prioritize collection efforts and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, chargebacks, and billing disputes by collaborating with internal sales and operations teams.
• Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Record incoming ACH and check payments accurately and reconcile accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
• Client Communication: Send routine payment reminders, monthly statements, and dunning letters, ensuring accurate documentation of all collection activities in the ERP system. This includes entering invoices in web-based portals for clients.
• Reporting: Participate in weekly collections meetings with executive management to inform management of the current state of collections, to identify priority accounts, and to plan upcoming collections activities.
• General: Collaborate with the Accounting team on other tasks as necessary
• Experience:*
• Work Experience: Previous experience in a corporate accounting environment is preferred; previous experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable experience preferred. Strong attention to detail is required.
• Computer Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred, must be comfortable exporting data from the ERP system and manipulating it in Excel. Hands-on experience with accounting software preferred. Ability and willingness to learn new software is required.
• Education Experience: Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
