Location : Chowchilla, CA
Shift : 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Duration: 26 weeks contract with possible extension
Pay: $65-$72/hr on W2
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication administration
- Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and ventilator support
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and medical records management
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and coordinate laboratory specimen collection/processing while adhering to infection control standards
- Provide acute pain management and participate in trauma medicine or emergency room triage when needed
- Educate patients and families on health coaching, discharge planning, medication adherence, and chronic disease management such as geriatrics or behavioral health conditions
- Support specialized care areas including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric ICU), neonatal units with neonatal ventilator experience, or hospice & palliative medicine services
- Maintain aseptic techniques during sterile procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans aligned with NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements
