This role entails leading patient care by utilizing the nursing process, following the Nurse Practice Act, and adhering to the ANA Code for Nurses. You will effectively delegate and guide team members, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes while being sensitive to diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.

Your involvement in unit and departmental goals will showcase your commitment to professional nursing practice.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Work Experience

• Required: None.

Certifications

• Required: Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Proficient in computer applications and software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction across various individuals involved in patient care.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Job Duties

• Utilize the nursing process effectively in patient care.
• Assess and address learning needs through tailored teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicate and manage nursing team resources efficiently, acting as a leader within the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze data to evaluate and enhance outcomes for optimal patient care.
