Key Role Overview
As a front-line leader in an outpatient dialysis clinic, this role manages clinic operations, leads a cross-functional clinical team, and directly impacts patient care through clinical goal setting and quality improvement. The position combines staff development, financial and operational accountability, and autonomy to run the facility with support from regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, mentor and inspire a cross-functional clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care and meet clinic goals.
- Build and maintain patient relationships, prioritize patient-centered care, and drive clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage all operational and financial aspects of the clinic including budgeting, forecasting expenses, vendor management, supply ordering, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure clinic coverage and availability during operating hours and provide day-to-day leadership and decision-making autonomy.
- Partner with the Regional Operations Director to identify and address employee and patient concerns and drive toward regional goals and standards.
- Collaborate daily with clinical and financial teams to produce results aligned with business needs and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of management experience (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN, etc.) at the discretion of Divisional Vice President and/or Regional Operations Director.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power. Point, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (strongly preferred).
- Prior renal or clinical experience and prior leadership experience are desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $89,500 - $141,000 per year.
