Provide strategic direction for the Sutter Heart & Vascular Service Line, including setting goals and objectives to drive growth and improve outcomes.
Oversee the operations of the service line, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care to patients.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and community partners, to support the success of the service line.
Collaborate with other leaders within Sutter Health to ensure alignment and integration of heart and vascular services with other departments and initiatives.
Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to heart and vascular services.
Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
Develop and manage the budget for the service line, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in heart and vascular care, and integrate them into the service line.
Act as a liaison between the service line and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Represent Sutter Health in professional organizations, conferences, and community events to raise awareness and promote the service line.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Serve as a role model for the Sutter Health values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
Uphold and promote the mission and vision of Sutter Health in all aspects of the role.
