Qualifications/Experience Required
Manage and support a caseload of students receiving special education services, ensuring access to the general education curriculum through accommodations and modifications outlined in each student's IEP. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide individualized and small-group instruction using research-based strategies to address students' academic and functional goals. Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, align instruction to content standards, and support inclusive practices. Collect, analyze, and utilize student data to monitor progress toward IEP goals and inform instructional decisions.
Create and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all students. Implement appropriate instructional and behavioral supports to ensure equitable access for students with disabilities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in special education, including IEP development, compliance, and intervention strategies.
Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student progress, goals, and support strategies. Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings, and collaborate with related service providers and staff. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, records, and reports as required by law and school policy. Perform other duties as assigned.
