Paraprofessional Openings Full-Time | Flint, MI Area (20262027 School Year)
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students across a variety of school settings in the Flint, Michigan area for the 20262027 academic year. With multiple openings available, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative school environment and make a meaningful difference in student success.
Location: Flint, MI area (positions available near Grand Blanc and surrounding communities)
School Year: August 17, 2026 June 11, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Typical hours may vary by building (e.g., 7:15 AM 3:15 PM or 8:15 AM 4:15 PM)
Setting: In-person, school-based
As a Paraprofessional, you will provide vital support to students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, and functional needs. Positions are available across multiple classroom environments and grade levels.
Providing 1:1 support to students in general education or specialized settings
Assisting in self-contained, resource, or general education classrooms
Supporting students with cognitive or emotional impairments
Assisting with daily living tasks, including toileting/diapering when required
Reinforcing instruction and helping maintain a productive learning environment
Collaborating with teachers and school staff to support student progress
Student Populations May Include
Mild to moderate learning needs in general education classrooms (elementary, middle, or high school)
Cognitive impairments
Emotional impairments
Severe or self-contained classroom settings
Completion of at least 60 semester hours of college coursework, or
An associate degree or higher, or
Passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (minimum 460), or
Qualifying SAT scores (minimum 480 in evidence-based reading/writing and 530 in math)
Official college transcripts or qualifying assessment scores must be provided prior to submission
Previous experience working with children preferred
Ability to provide personal care support when needed
Strong communication skills and adaptability in a school setting
