Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat students with speech and language disorders, documenting findings and progress Develop, implement, and monitor IEP-related goals and plans of care in collaboration with teachers, families, and related service personnel Provide direct therapy and consultative services across articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication areas as appropriate for each student Maintain thorough documentation, session notes, and progress reporting in compliance with school policies and applicable federal and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with families and school staff Manage a reasonable caseload and adapt therapy plans based on student progress and changing needs

Requirements

• Active SLP license in Washington state or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice in Washington CCC-SLP certification or state licensure equivalent Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Ability to work in a school-based setting and follow IEP processes; comfortable with collaboration across educational staff Experience in school-based settings or long-term care is preferred but not required
