Key Responsibilities

Lesson Planning and Teaching

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to enrich learning.
• Manage a classroom of over 20 students.

Student Assessment and Evaluation

• Monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
• Offer timely feedback and support to foster student development.
• Keep accurate records of student performance.

Classroom Management

• Establish and uphold classroom rules to create a productive learning atmosphere.

Communication and Teamwork

• Regularly communicate with students and parents about academic and behavioral progress.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student achievement.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required before starting work with Success Academy (no education background necessary).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in New York City (a $2500 stipend available for qualified relocations).
• Compensation will vary based on skills and experience.
