AmeriCorps Member - Student Well-Being and Family Resources (2026-2027)

AmeriCorps Borderlands members provide 1:1 to 1:3 ratio of academic tutoring in English language development and functional academics on a daily basis to 159 underperforming kindergarten through 12th grade and special education students at 18 service sites countywide.

• A willingness to serve the diverse populations in Brawley, Calipatria, El Centro, Heber,

Imperial, Seeley, and all communities throughout Imperial County providing

his/her own transportation

• A willingness to serve on disaster-relief assignments in the event of an emergency.
