You will oversee all site operations, establishing positive relationships with school districts and working collaboratively to ensure each student's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing visionary leadership and driving student achievement through effective staff supervision, performance management, and continuous professional growth opportunities.
- Playing a key role in recruitment, selection, and retention of a skilled staff team tailored to meet the unique needs of our special education program.
- Analyzing and aligning professional development needs with Spectrum's educational vision while fostering productive operations.
- Leading staff induction and training to ensure a successful onboarding experience and enhance staff retention.
- Supervising the safety and compliance of facilities and programs, ensuring adherence to all contractual and state requirements.
- Managing daily school operations and coordinating all aspects of administrative functions, including schedules, budgetary processes, and resource allocation.
- Guiding the enrollment process to ensure timely and appropriate placement of students.
- Monitoring and evaluating staff and student performance to uphold instructional fidelity and optimize learning outcomes.
- Compiling and analyzing assessment data to track student growth and inform targeted interventions.
- Maintaining accurate student performance records and ensuring timely completion of report cards and IEP progress reports.
- Fostering a positive school culture through effective behavior management programs and student support initiatives.
- Providing academic counseling and guidance to students facing challenges, helping them achieve their educational goals.
- Completing additional duties as assigned to support program success.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in education, special education, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Educational leadership or related credential with at least 2 years' experience working with students with disabilities.
- Ability to maintain certification in approved crisis management training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in an educational leadership or administrative role.
- Prior experience in special education teaching and with diverse needs at various levels.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, assessment, and instructional management.
- Proficient in managing educational operations, compliance, and behavior interventions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
