Job Summary
Join Circle of Friends as a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Director of School Operations. In this pivotal role, you will support the Director and instructional staff in seamlessly managing school operations, creating a secure and nurturing environment for students and their families.
Your responsibilities will encompass effective enrollment management, proactive engagement with families, and unwavering adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with daily administrative tasks and operational support.
- Conduct engaging tours for prospective families interested in our educational facility.
- Manage student enrollment processes and facilitate family intake smoothly.
- Provide support to teaching staff in classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for students and their families.
- Conduct needs assessments to address and fulfill family support requirements.
- Keep accurate and detailed records for all State-funded programs.
- Build strong, professional relationships with staff, parents, students, and vendors to foster a collaborative community.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in educational or child care settings is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of state regulations and policies related to school administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.

Job Requirements
- AA or BA degree in Child Development, Sociology, Psychology, Social Welfare, or a related field
- Site Supervisor Permit or Higher
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
- One or more years of experience with subsidized programs
- Knowledge of CDE and CDSS eligibility guidelines for enrollment in CCTR and CSPP programs
- Valid California driver's license and current personal vehicle insurance
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
