Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Montessori Head of School to lead our educational community in Philadelphia, PA. The Head of School will oversee the academic and operational success of the academy, ensuring alignment with Montessori principles.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining curriculum, training and mentoring staff, engaging with families, fostering a positive school culture, and overseeing day-to-day administration and compliance. The successful candidate will serve as a dynamic leader, committed to advancing the mission of the academy.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Curriculum Development and a thorough understanding of Montessori educational practices
• Certified Montessori Teaching Certification
• Experience in Educational Leadership and a proven ability to lead and mentor educators
• Background in Education with a deep passion for fostering student success
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Proficiency in Research to stay informed on best practices and educational trends
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Organizational and strategic planning skills for efficient school administration
