In Winter Haven, Coke Florida is in search of a Logistics Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing distribution operations. Working hours are set to start at 3am, Tuesday through Saturday.
What you will do
At Coke Florida Distribution, you will be tasked with efficiently distributing products and managing drivers within a designated territory situated in Winter Haven.
Roles and Responsibilities
- The responsibility of a manager is to control, teach, appraise, and advance the abilities of team personnel
- It is essential to maintain delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements by verifying that all processes are properly executed and all tasks are completed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Administers the driver's timetable and tracks their hours worked while adhering to the compliance policies
- Enhance customer engagement by using effective communication techniques, such as active listening, clear and concise language, and empathy, to understand their unique needs and requirements
- Act as an intermediary to ensure that each department understands the other's needs and challenges
- Implement a system for tracking time-off requests and approvals to avoid scheduling conflicts or unexpected absences
- In order to stay within the labor and OPEX budget, it is important to prioritize spending and eliminate unnecessary expenses
For this role, you will need

- Having worked for a year or more in the realm of consumer products and direct store delivery, I am well-versed in this area
- Experience in managing personnel and budgets is a prerequisite for this job opening
- A thorough understanding of DOT regulations can help prevent violations and ensure compliance
- Meeting the MVR policy guidelines necessitates holding a valid driver's license and having a driving record that satisfies the established criteria
Additional competencies that can enhance your effectiveness in this job:
- Similarly, possessing a working knowledge of database management techniques and practices is increasingly becoming a necessity as businesses generate and accumulate vast amounts of digital data
- Bachelors degree preferred
- The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience leading delivery staff
- It is advantageous to have a CDL A license
