General Manager - Restaurant

Duties

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth shift transitions
• Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety compliance
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting
• Train and develop team members through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and skill enhancement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant
• Implement strategies for customer service excellence to enhance guest satisfaction and foster repeat business

Skills

• Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
• Strong background in kitchen management, culinary operations, and food handling procedures
• Proven supervisory experience with team management, staff training & development, and interviewing skills
• Familiarity with restaurant management software including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems
• Excellent skills in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management to optimize profitability
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on hospitality excellence
