Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our bustling restaurant operations. Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and implement effective stock management strategies using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement in food service management.
- Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, safety protocols, and hospitality standards.
- Oversee shift management to optimize operational efficiency during peak hours.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across all restaurant areas.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food industry management with a focus on quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management including culinary experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally.
- Competence in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food management strategies.
- Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and team management practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and food handling procedures to ensure compliance.
- Experience with catering services or banquet operations is a plus; hotel or bar experience is advantageous.
