Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations with enthusiasm, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to guarantee quality and consistency.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
- Supervise staff training and development programs to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Implement staffing schedules, shift management, and oversee hiring processes including interviewing potential team members.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize operational efficiency to meet financial goals.
- Coordinate kitchen management activities including food production, catering services, banquets, and bar operations where applicable.
- Lead by example in hospitality management practices that promote a positive work environment and team collaboration.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive background in food service management including food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing.
- Demonstrated success in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, interviewing, and team supervision.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous; culinary experience adds value to your leadership capabilities.
