Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting.
- Supervise kitchen management tasks including food production, culinary execution, and kitchen staff training to uphold consistency and excellence.
- Implement staff training and development programs focused on customer service, food safety, and operational procedures to enhance team performance.
- Conduct shift management duties by scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Foster a welcoming environment by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Oversee budgeting processes, cost control measures, and financial reporting to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members with a focus on hiring skilled professionals with restaurant experience across casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement within the restaurant staff.
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive background in food service management including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
- Experience in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence in diverse dining settings including banquet or catering services.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and team leadership.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and health regulations applicable within the food industry.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
