Exciting career opportunity: BODYARMOR is searching for a motivated Region Sales Manager to join us.
The successful performance of BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition largely depends on the Florida Region Sales Manager who leads the team of District Sales Managers and works towards achieving the annual sales goals by delivering short-term and long-term business objectives.
Effective management of field execution related to programming, promotions, distribution, merchandising, and display activities is a critical responsibility of this role.
Furthermore, the Region Sales Manager is tasked with ensuring that all of these activities adhere to the 'Look of Success' standards for each specific channel or chain that represents BODYARMOR. As a collaborative leader, the Region Sales Manager is also responsible for implementing customer strategy to drive accelerated business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the roll-out of distinct communication schemes for bottlers and oversee their successful implementation by the District Sales Manager team(s).
- The DSM's responsibilities include guiding, teaching, and enhancing the skills of the Retail Execution Specialist so that they can execute their tasks efficiently.
- An adept negotiator and strategic sales partner who works with bottlers and retailers to promote growth and mutual ownership of execution goals.
- Administer the monitoring, tracking, analysis, and communication duties for important retail events, offering stakeholders a comprehensive assessment of the event's success before and after the occasion.
- Develop a rapport with bottler sales management and retail company executives to facilitate strong alliances and achieve immediate and future business priorities.
- The sales and promotion of BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition® products via various business channels is essential in meeting immediate and long-term business goals.
- The secondary point of contact at the local sales center(s) is a key resource for the BASN DSM's in resolving complex scenarios.
- Create and present monthly FSR and CSM bottler calls, providing detailed updates on the financial health of the company and the status of customer service efforts.
- As an engagement specialist, it is their job to instill excitement and drive in bottler sales teams and help them reach their sales targets by utilizing their leadership skills to coach, inspire, and optimize sales objectives.
- Boost the successful execution of all promotional activities that are part of the chain promotions at the store level by performing various functions, such as liaising with chain management through vertical call communication, establishing and improving displays, monitoring inventory levels, executing planograms flawlessly, and dispersing point of sale items.
- My job requires me to manage and onboard sales interns for a designated territory each summer, which includes constant mentoring and feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- My role as a collaborative leader is to work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager of BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition to maximize regional opportunities and connect bottler leadership with the value and ownership of these events, with the aim of achieving our ambitious sales objectives.
- Keep track of frequent evaluations within the organization to gauge achievements, trends among competitors, purchases, new item introductions and prospects through regularly scheduled sales recaps.
- Collaborate on the development and execution of external meetings, such as sales blitzes, that cover several locations throughout the region, division, and country, with a focus on helping the field team to reach its sales goals and overall strategic targets.
- Regularly supervise the distributor's inventory levels of the products and alert the senior leaders of any arising issues in the designated area, proposing viable resolutions.
- Staying consistently driven and motivated while operating in a fast-paced and high-energy work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Candidates must have either a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical knowledge to be considered.
- The successful applicant must have Sales and Account Management experience of at least 5 years.
- Over 5 years of experience in people management, cultivating a supportive and productive work environment.
- Constructing partnerships with bottlers is a valuable skill in the beverage manufacturing industry.
- Applicants with knowledge of the beverage trade are preferred.
- The preferred individual should possess a high level of intrinsic motivation, be coachable, possess exceptional organizational abilities, and have a great zeal for producing desired outcomes.
- Approaching Your Sales Territory with Confidence: How to navigate unfamiliar terrain and close deals.
- Well-versed in using Microsoft Office software and equipped with excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency and motivation to carry loads of 40 to 50 pounds.
- To be suitable for this role, one must possess both a valid driver's license and have the capacity to drive long distances.
- Displays an outstanding ability in communication, enabling them to clearly convey actionable steps and initiatives to a variety of teams and distributor allies.
