The Assistant Property Manager will oversee, manage, and provide direct support to the on-site management and maintenance teams in place from a centrally located regional office in San Joaquin County, California. You will meet weekly and additionally as necessary with on-site teams, maintain effective and robust communication, and report directly to senior management and firm principals.
The primary responsibility of the Assistant Property Manager is to ensure each property is operating at its optimum level, on-site personnel are supported, and senior management is fully informed.
In this role, you will guide on-site teams in delivering exceptional resident service, maintaining well-kept properties and records, managing expenses responsibly, and supporting strong property income growth, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, Fair Housing requirements, and company policies. We’re looking for leaders who will inspire our team to their best work.
You will need a proactive “can do” performance, effective supervisory skills, excellent communication skills, a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and a reliable and insured vehicle. The Assistant Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all aspects of multifamily property management and maintenance, including:
-Ensuring rent collection and other aspects of income generation
-Controlling costs and overseeing maintenance projects
-Maintaining positive resident relations and accurate record keeping
-Reporting to Senior Managers, participating in staff training
-Regular onsite property inspections and meetings with management and staff
-Overseeing vacancy preparation, marketing and leasing
-Monitoring market changes and rent reviews
-Such other duties and tasks as may be assigned.

$50,000 to $65,000 subject to experience and qualifications
5 years multifamily property management, 2 years managing and supervising 3 or more persons, computer and property management software proficiency, bilingual Spanish a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
