Role Description

The Director of Asset Management is a full-time, on-site role based in the Louisville Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for overseeing the performance of a portfolio of income-producing multifamily real estate assets, including monitoring property financials, rental income, and operating expenses to maximize returns.

The Director will develop and execute asset strategies, including budgeting, capital planning, repositioning, and value-add initiatives in partnership with property management and development teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial reports, market and investment data, reviewing leases, and preparing asset management reports and recommendations for senior leadership and investors.

The role also involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as regional managers, property managers, lenders, and advisors, to ensure assets meet financial, operational, and compliance objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Asset Management and Property Management experience, with a track record of overseeing income-producing multifamily real estate portfolios.
• Advanced Finance and Investments skills, including financial modeling, cash flow analysis, valuation, and capital planning.
• Robust Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in real estate development, leasing, or acquisitions is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant designation (e.g., CFA, CPM, CCIM) is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear reports to senior leadership and investors.
• Familiarity with Yardi real estate management software and advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial tools.
