The Transaction Management Leader is integral to House Buyers of America, supervising all real estate transactions while guiding both acquisition and disposition deals from contract through closing. This is a dynamic, hands-on role designed for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment—acting as both a player and a coach while managing a personal pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee acquisition and disposition transactions from contract ratification to settlement.
- Lead, train, and evaluate Transaction Coordinators / Settlement Processors.
- Establish, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for team members.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise Transaction Coordinators.
- Create and update policies and procedures while developing training materials.
- Ensure compliance with policies and review transactions for accuracy and timelines.
- Oversee the review of contracts, addenda, and closing statements.
- Request loans for new acquisitions and collaborate with lenders.
- Manage construction loan draw requests with the Construction team.
- Coordinate property listings, ensuring high-quality presentation with professional photography and virtual staging.
- Oversee accuracy of listings across MLS and other platforms.
- Maintain and update the company CRM for all transactions.
- Act as the escalation point for transaction challenges, resolving issues with title companies and lenders.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Construction teams for smooth transitions and timely closings.
- Support market expansion efforts, including managing title company relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to buyers, sellers, and partners.
- Assist with hiring and oversight of 3rd party property managers for rental portfolios.
- Adapt to fast-paced conditions; availability for evenings and weekends may be required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of people management experience in settlement, title, or transaction management.
- 5+ years of real estate transaction experience.
- Proven track record in managing high volume acquisitions and dispositions.
- Assertive leadership skills with a strong sense of accountability for team performance.
- Demonstrated work ethic and ownership mentality.
- Able to independently troubleshoot complex real estate transaction challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Total Compensation Range: $80,000-$130,000/year inclusive of base plus bonus.
