Job Overview
We are seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with a strong focus on customer service and quality assurance to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and technical software will drive project success while maintaining excellent communication and client satisfaction throughout every phase. In this role, you are the face of the company. You will own the project lifecycle from scheduling to final quality assurance. Crucially, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients' questions, concerns, and feedback.
Non-Negotiable Requirements: A solid background in construction management and a proven track record of exceptional, front-facing customer service. You must be able to handle difficult client conversations with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling: Mastermind daily and weekly project schedules, ensuring materials, equipment, and crews are exactly where they need to be to keep projects on track.
- Crew & Installer Oversight: Manage and lead our installation crews/subcontractors on-site. Enforce safety, timelines, and high-quality workmanship.
- Problem Solving: Tackle on-site construction challenges or scheduling conflicts quickly to minimize client impact and keep projects on budget. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance; address issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Elite Customer Service: Act as the dedicated point of contact for clients. Proactively communicate project updates, answer questions, and immediately address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Final Quality Assurance (QA): Perform rigorous final inspections on completed jobs to ensure everything meets our company’s high standards and the client's specifications before final sign-off..
Experience
- Customer Service Excellence (Required): Proven experience in a customer-facing role where you successfully managed client expectations, handled complaints, and maintained high satisfaction.
- Construction Background (Required): Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or the trades. You must know job site dynamics and terminology.
- Management Experience (Required): Proven track record of managing crews, installers, or subcontractors.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication. You know how to talk to a crew in the field and a client in their living room or boardroom.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for final QA; you notice the small flaws before the customer does.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
