About This JobThe mission of the Louisiana Department of Health is to protect and promote health and to ensure access to medical, preventive, and rehabilitative services for all residents of the State of Louisiana.
Learn more about Louisiana Department of HealthThis position will serve as the lead for OPH’s performance management system, ensuring that the performance of public health processes, program interventions, and other activities is effectively monitored.
This position is responsible for working collaboratively across the organization to develop and manage a fully functioning performance management system that is integrated into health department daily practice.
This position will also work closely with the Implementation Manager to ensure that the objectives and indicators in the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) are effective, actionable, and measurable. As such, this position aids the Office in effectively measuring performance, demonstrating accountability, and ensuring compliance with Public Health Accreditation Board standards.
The successful candidate is a highly-motivated, accountability driven employee skilled at managing data, people, committees and processes to meet challenging timelines.
