OVERVIEW

The General Manager for Global Oil & Gas will oversee manufacturing operations, commercial activities, and overall performance for our assembled product business in Engineering and Services. Our focus includes Upstream Drilling, Upstream Services, Hydrocarbon Transport Systems, and downstream Refining & Facilities segments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take charge of the P&L for Gates E&S across the global market, ensuring top-line and bottom-line results are met or surpassed. Develop and implement strategic and operational plans that align with business unit and company objectives.
• Enhance relationships with end-users and distribution partners to improve market share and maximize margins. Lead business development efforts globally.
• Design and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive profitable revenue growth across target markets. Ensure effective go-to-market execution, along with pricing discipline and customer segmentation.
• Oversee manufacturing and assembly operations, guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Push for operational excellence through lean methodologies and productivity initiatives.
• Manage safe and efficient product storage, assembly, testing, and delivery of both high- and low-pressure products.
• Foster synergy between Gates E&S and other Gates operations, particularly within the Industrial Replacement and Fluid Power businesses.

Keys to Success

• Extensive experience in global Oil and Gas upstream activities, especially in providing products and/or services to the drilling market. Familiarity with midstream and downstream sectors is a plus.
• Established relationships with key customers (Drilling Operators, Oilfield Service Providers, and O&G OEM Suppliers).
• Proven ability to lead multi-site plant operations and establish continuous improvement programs.
• Strong understanding of regulations in the global O&G industry, including API 7k and 16c standards and best practices.
• Possess strong business acumen, focused on controlling costs and optimizing performance to translate revenues into solid bottom-line results.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, management, and leadership.
• Proven track record with Global P&L ownership and overseeing complex multi-site operations.
• At least 5 years of experience in global commercial activities related to product sales in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Full-Time Position
• Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000
• Bonus Eligible
