• Role Context The Secondary MSC Teacher
• Temporary will teach secondary students in a British curriculum school environment, supporting learning across moral education, social studies, cultural awareness, citizenship, UAE values, global perspectives, and responsible community engagement.
• The role requires a teacher who can manage classroom learning effectively, prepare engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute positively to the school during the temporary assignment.
• Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging MSC lessons for secondary students in line with school curriculum expectations.* Teach key concepts related to moral education, social responsibility, cultural understanding, citizenship, UAE heritage, and global awareness.* Create structured lesson plans that support student participation, discussion, critical thinking, and values-based learning.* Use age-appropriate teaching strategies to help students understand ethical decision-making, community responsibility, and cultural diversity.* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment that supports learning, respect, and student confidence.* Assess student progress through class activities, assignments, discussions, projects, quizzes, and written tasks.* Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and classroom performance.* Support students with different learning needs through differentiated instruction and clear learning objectives.* Use educational technology and classroom resources to make MSC lessons interactive and relevant.* Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning during the temporary teaching period.* Communicate professionally with colleagues and parents when required regarding student learning and progress.* Follow school policies related to safeguarding, inclusion, behavior management, assessment, and student wellbeing.* Support school events, assemblies, cultural activities, and related learning initiatives when needed.* Contribute to a respectful school culture that promotes UAE values, tolerance, responsibility, and positive student behavior.
• Ideal Profile * Master s degree in a relevant subject area.* B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is required.* Experience teaching secondary students in a British curriculum school will be an advantage.* Strong understanding of MSC, moral education, social studies, cultural studies, or related humanities-based learning.* Ability to join immediately is preferred.* Own visa candidates are preferred.* Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, students, and school leadership.* Professional approach to student learning, school policies, academic documentation, and temporary assignment responsibilities.* Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and values-driven learning environment.
